How to Apply
Application to study at the Faculty of Canon Law Saint Pius X is open to three categories of students.
Ordinary - those who attend all the courses prescribed for the attainment of academic degrees
Extraordinary – those who, with the permission of the Dean, attend the courses regularly, but cannot obtain academic degrees. These persons may apply for a certificate of attendance and, after passing the examination, the attestation of the mark obtained.
Guest – those who, for a certain period granted by the Dean, may follow some courses but may not obtain academic degrees.
Required Documents
The following documents are required for those who wish to apply.
- Personal interview with the Dean to be fixed by the Secretary to the Faculty
- 1 passport-size photograph
- Birth certificate (self-certification)
- Photocopies of identity card and fiscal code
- Certified copy of the diploma of higher education, valid for admission to universities in one’s country of origin
- Degree certificate and official transcripts
For clerics and religious
- Permission of one’s Ordinary
For the Laity
- Letter of presentation by an ecclesiastical authority
For Non-Italians
- Photocopy of your passport
- Resident permit
- Health Insurance
For registration into the Licentiate cycle, it is necessary to have attended (even in other academic Theological Institutions) courses listed for the Preparatory Circle. Students with a Bachelor’s degree in theology or of a curriculum of equivalent studies can be admitted directly to the third year (first year of the Licentiate cycle).
